Identity Management: Account Claiming Info
Introduction
These instructions guide new Cal Poly Pomona applicants, students (new, transfer, returning, and College of Professional and Global Education (CPGE) students), employees (tenure-track faculty, lecturers, and staff), auxiliary staff and sponsored affiliates through the BroncoIdentity account claiming process. You will need your BroncoNumber and Claim Code to complete the account claiming process.
During the account claiming process, you will verify your identity, accept Cal Poly Pomona’s Appropriate Use Policy, provide your BroncoName (username), set your BroncoPassword, create secret security questions, and Set SMS Password Recovery.
Secret security questions allow you to reset your password if you forget your BroncoPassword. SMS Password Recovery will send a BroncoPassword token to your mobile device to reset your BroncoPassword when needed.
