Identity Management: Account Claiming Info

Quick Start

If you have your BroncoNumber and Claim Code, go to the Account claiming page.

Account claiming login page.

Introduction

These instructions guide new Cal Poly Pomona applicants, students (New, Transfer, Returning, and CEU students), employees (tenure-track faculty, lecturers and staff), auxiliary staff and sponsored affiliates through the BroncoIdentity account claiming process.

During the account claiming process, you will be asked to verify your identity, accept Cal Poly Pomona’s Appropriate Use Policy for Information Technology, provide your BroncoName (username), set your BroncoPassword, create secret security questions, and set up your SMS text message password reset option.

Setting up your secret security questions allows you to reset your password yourself in the event you forget your BroncoPassword. The SMS text message password reset option allows you to send a BroncoPassword token to your mobile device that can then be used to reset your BroncoPassword yourself.

To complete the account claiming process you need your BroncoNumber and Claim Code. If you have your BroncoNumber and Claim Code, go to the eHelp Account Claiming page.
